The problem with the audio ic fault is not the led connecting the IC to the logicboard pads but inseatd the connection betweet certains caps and the pads where the IC sits on. You would have to take out the IC, clean the board and the ic, connect a jumperwire between the pad/s and the caps and then solder the IC back in. Hope this helps!
