We spent fantastic day in Costa Martianez in the end of August. This place is in the heart of Puerto de la Cruz, popular spot for locals. €6.50 entrance fee €2.50 for umbrella is very reasonable, food is very reasonably priced too or you can bring your own. This place is extremely underrated, should be in top 10 to visit in Tenerife.

This hotel takes you from day to night with its pool, buffet restaurant and evening entertainment. This cliffside hotel has some great views of Mount Teide and the sea. Speaking of which, the beachfront is 10-minutes’ walk down the steps. The town centre is down here, too. The hotel comes with a circular pool.
